Dear gensachi, today was mum's birthday. Our family of three selected ferringhi garden as our celebration spot. besides than mum, there were 5 guests who are celebrating their birthday there.
After dinner we head home and while waiting for mum to change and bathe, i took the cake out from the fridge and shut all the lights. Mum forgotten her shower cap and came out from the bathroom. she saw the cake !
no choice but to act like i know that she would come out and give a “ta-da” look. We end-up singing happy birthday to mum in towel . What a funny way to celebrate. Mum said ”no photos allowed”. mum blew the candle and cut the cake. She was happy and didn’t notice the hidden cake in the fridge. We brought her the Japanese green tea cake that she liked. Layered by green tea cream and powder and red beans in each layer that melts on the tongue. Yummy~ the rest of the cake is stored inside the fridge and became my breakfast for tomorrow. Haha.
Today was fun and meaningfull for the whole family. Yay~
